We absolutely love Bob Murphy’s Violin Shop. Both of my children’s violins were purchased from Bob’s shop. Their customer service is outstanding, from before we purchased and continuing well after. They took the time to educate us and our children, and lovingly support them along the way. We had tried other shops closer to our home but no one compares in quality, craftsmanship and outstanding support. As an added bonus, it’s always wonderful to hear how Bob gives back to the community and those less fortunate. Nobody does it better!

A Couple of years ago I purchased a used restored Juzek violin from Bob Murphy’s Violin Shop. I got it for a song. Bob’s Shop is downstairs at Murphy’s Music having heard my son play through the floorboards he said “this Kids got talent” let me do something, so he took apart the Juzek I purchased and completely regraduated in the inside of the instrument. The violin now doesn’t play it sings! What a difference it made. I’ve heard violins that sell for tens of thousands of dollars that don’t compare to the regraduation he did on this instrument.

I have bought an electric fiddle and a beautiful bow from Bob Murphy. He’s also fixed a few of my fiddles as well and does a great job. A true professional at his craft.
